Its about this korean guy and jap gal...the guy was an aspiring director and she was an saleswoman. They met each other in hong kong by a twist of fate. Interestingly...the gal was robbed and she ran after the thief. Surprisingly...the thief wore the same clothes as the guy did and she accidentally mistook him for the thief...she knocked him down and created a huge hoo ha at the police station. After the guy had proved his innocence...the both of them were walking along the street when she spotted the thief (what a coincidence right?) anyway...both of them ran after the thief but failed to catch him anyway. Sigh besides this part is not interesting haha...so i shall skip it.
The both of them spent some time together in hong kong visiting tourist attractions and basically just playing around. On their last day together...they were at this kinda river. Sort of looked like the the place at esplanade. Where you can see the skyline of the buildings. It was really beautiful. Back to the story...they exchanged tokens. Him giving her his cap while she gave him a key chain with "dreams coming true" on it. After that she pecked him on his cheek and vice versa. Haha...kinda expected anyway...there were fireworks going on and the ambience was kinda romantic.
Sadly...the both of them had to go their seperate ways. The guy back to korea and the gal back to japan. But before that...they exchanged email adds so they could contact each other in the future.
Back in japan...the gal found herself thinking about him constantly and decided to send him an email...thus lead to them sending emails to each other and not surprisingly, causing both of them to fall in love with each other. The gal decided to go to korea for a holiday and to see him. She sent him an email but just at that time...he went back to his hometown to see his parents. Typical korean movie. Hahah...so she ended up waiting at the hotel for a few days instead of following her tour group around and pining for him. My heart goes out to her...she was really sweet looking. Haha...anyway. Typical story. The guy another female fren who had a crush on him. She saw the email and read it since the guy wasnt around. Out of jealousy...she deleted it to prevent the guy from knowing.
Finally...he went back and checked to see whether there were any emails. when he found out there wasnt any...he was really disappointed. Well...at least his fren had a conscience. Seeing his disappointment, and partly she couldn't live with what she did. She apologized to him and told him what she did. The guy ran all the way to the hotel to look for her but coincindentally...she wasnt in. How wonderful.
He then ran the streets looking for her and i think you guys know the chance of him finding her is like zlich? Anyway...he caught a glimpse of her and ran after her. They reconciled in front of a cinema. He then brought her round to see the sights...u know...typical date. Haha and they ended up at the riverside again. (Whats with all the rivers? think the directors must be running out of ideas.) Anyway...this time they shared a romantic kiss under the moonlight.
They made a promise that he would go to tokyo to look for her. So he started taking odd jobs just to pay for his air fare there...but as fate would have it, there was going to be a film convention in japan and the sch was going to pay for everything...including meals and lodging. He jumped at the chance to go and went to japan. At the last day of the film convention, he went to tokyo to see her. (She works at takashimaya btw) Before going there...he called her workplace and left a message with a guy colleague that answered the phone that he was going to see her at 7pm at night.
He found his way to her workplace amazingly and on the way...even managed to buy some flowers. Reaching the floor she worked on...he was looking for her when the guy that accepted his msg approached him and asked him for a chat. He told the poor korean guy that he loved her and said one thing that i will always remember.
"Are u able to make her happy? To be able to take care of her? Never to let her be hurt? Do not forget...u are still a student..."
He went on to say he could give her happiness and anything she wanted. Bleah...the korean guy was quite shocked and struck by how right the colleague was. He dropped the flowers and went off...back to the airport. Anyway...the colleague suffered from guilty conscience(again? whats with all this people? Backstab liao then say sorry. Abit too late right?) and told her what he had done and apologized...
She was very hurt and disappointed and ran off after admonishing him. Not to mention giving him a slap. Haha...after that she sent him an email apologizing. But his room mate seeing the email...replied to her asking her to give up since he has already been called up for national service. She than resolved to go to korea again to look for him...seems like its going to continue next week.
Are u able to make her happy? To be able to take care of her? Never to let her be hurt? Do not forget...u are still a student.. This words really strike me...and i am always afraid of the consequences of falling in love. Sigh...
