On my way to school today morning, i saw on tvmobile that was showing channelnewsasia that the big names in sports, david beckham, mohammad ali, raul gonzalez, yada yada are going to come together to decide which city will host the olympics 2012. The last i could remember, main contenders are:-
New York. United States.
Madrid. Spain.
Paris. France.
Moscow. Russia.
London. England.
Thats all i could remember. Anyway...one message to the NYC from the olympics games commitee. No stadium, no games. So my dear nyc, better get cracking if you want to stand a chance to host the games. Hohoho.
Singapore's gonna host the OIC too! Catch it 5th July 7:30pm on ch5 Live!
The following extract is from War of the Worlds.
Ray "We're under attack!"Robby "Who is attacking us? Are they terrorists?"Ray "No, they're from somewhere else!"Robby "What? You mean Europe?"Ray "Not Europe dammit!"

Guys, a piece of advice. After your wisdom tooth surgery, after you reach home, put an ice pack on your cheek to help staunch the bleeding and also to reduce swelling. I didnt do that and i regretted it. Its still hurting now.
Anyway, the following sentence is true.
The force inflicted while extracting your wisdom tooth is equivalent to hitting the side of your face with a sledgehammer.

Tried brushing my teeth, but accidentally opened the wound so a little blood came out. Its just a little though =D
A dull ache persists in irritating me on my lower jaw. And its starting to swell. Like a balloon!
12 hours after the operation, Im proud to say that...
IM STILL FUCKING BLEEDING. ARGH.

Got my wisdom tooth surgery done today...and it was, uneventful, to say the least. Here's the time chronology :-
12pm - Reached the dental clinic, was told to take a seat by the ever charming mrs goh aka receptionist. Took yesterday's straits times and started reading the article on the press conference for initial d. Hmm...interesting.
12:05pm - Got called in, made to seat down and the nurse generally gave me all the napkins and yada yada. Washed my mouth with an antiseptic wash which was slightly bitter. Dr Goh came in (he's the husband of mrs goh, the receptionist) and tried to soothe my nerves, which were pretty okay. He dabbed the area that was supposed to be cut open with some numbing liquid...dunno what is it. Felt a slight cooling sensation =)
12:06pm - Started on the injections, and the needle was really long. I got 2 injections and feel a sharp prinking sensation before numbness took over and all sensation of touch was gone. Not a good way to go, i think i've found out my new fear of needles. Especially long ones.
12:10pm - They left me to my own devices, presumably to let my face be thoroughly numbed. Checked my own face in the mirror to make sure my lips werent swelling as they felt like they were (this is weird cuz i cant feel anything. But its a feeling la!) Was satisfied that everything looks the same, and replaced the mirror.
12:20pm - Im still left alone. Im assuming they're not trying to make me nervous here...
12:25pm - They're back, all smiles and cheerful faces, Dr Goh decided to give me another 2 injections, and this time i didnt feel anything, and wasnt as disturbed as the first 2 injections. Sufficiently numbed now, Dr Goh deemed it ok to start.
12:30pm - Heard some scraping, i thought he wasnt doing anything till i saw his gloves stained in blood. Realised then my gum was being split open and the best thing was i didnt feel anything. This went on for the next 10 minutes with a few intervals that he had to use his peumatic drill/electric saw to cut my molar. Somehow, i felt a far off sensation of pain, probably some part of the nerve that was not fully dead yet, and trying to assert itself and warn my brain that i was bleeding and in danger.
12:30pm cont. - Dr Goh tried to extract my molar, but couldnt get a good grip on it, so on went the drilling/sawing and more blood everywhere. I had a sudden vision of the room walls being splashed with blood and me walking out with blood dripping from my mouth grinning the evil smile. Quickly wiped that out of my head.
12:40 - "We have a slight problem" announces Dr Goh, and its obviously not something I liked to hear. Was quite distracted and worried that it might be something not as trivial as he made it sound. Apparently, he cant get my molar out and had to chip it to break it into further pieces.
12:45 - Viola! The first piece is out, followed by the rest. He went on the cut away the rest of my gum, as i had to expose my other tooth that was blocked. After that finally started on the stitching, and done! As good as new.
Not really a vivid description, but it cant be helped. Im losing blood as i type.

I cant wait for Microsoft's next generation Windows to be released. Oh my fucking god, just reformating my comp and updating it took me almost 13 hours to do it and I admit although im no computer techie, but isnt that too fucking long? Just because my winXP is an upgrade version (which means i have to install winME then upgrade from there) and then the computer somehow decides that I want to partition my drive (which is of no choosing of mine) and i have to reformat my comp, over and over again. At one point in time i even managed to have 2 OS on my comp, both of which are winXP -_-"Things like that just doesnt happen. Im starting to fear my incompetence with computers. Thanks to Bill Gates and his team of software engineers over at Microsoft. Was reading my friend's blog again, which stated that one of her friends apparently married a 19-20 year old trader/stock broker. I wished i was like that guy. Trading shares at this age and taking in a monthly income of about $3000 at his age is something I envy. Money drives our society.

Woot! Finally one week left to when school reopens. I've never thought i'll look forward to this, which means interrupting my mundane routine that has settled down upon me since the start of june. Anyway dental surgery is scheduled for this thursday, means im out of action for the next 5 days or so according to the dentist.
Did i tell you my new phone rocks? It really takes pictures in the dark without a problem and the pictures come out clear and nice! Maybe i could show you guys sometime. Initial D is on for this wednesday BUT dom told me today that he wouldnt be able to make it since he already has some other plans with his friend. And I told him last wednesday to keep this wednesday free and he says he cant remember anything.
Just great.

For those that havent watched batman begins, GO WATCH IT AS SOON AS YOU CAN. Its a damn good show.
Fantastic plot development, flashback storytelling sequence at the start, not too much or too little action, definitely the best movie I've watched this year yet, replacing X-Men to take the top spot on my favourite superheroes movie list.
Do watch it. Its a sin if you don't.

St Andrew's. One family unbroken.
Due to extreme boredom, I've taken to blogging at this weird hour instead of taking my usual afternoon nap or blasting someone else's units in Shattered Galaxy, or owning another hero in dota(warcraft3), or winning my league games in football manager, or....you get the idea. The 2nd week of holidays is up, and I'll still yet to find something to occupy me for long periods of time in the afternoon mainly.
Dominic being placed under house arrest, seng kiat being sick, and ailing vowing never to go out with me again, I cant really find someone to spend my afternoons with, and I spend them cropped up at home, rewatching episodes of Initial D: 4th stage. Anyway I suppose I can always start mugging for the mid years, and Im sure I will start soon, when the situation calls for desperate measures.
The only thing that I can really remember in the past week is that its been really HOT. I hope the rain would come soon, and on a more regular basis. At least this would cool me down and make me feel less restless.
And I've been contemplating about whether to get the new Sony Ericsson k750i, but I think for the best benefit for my coffers, I should just wait till when I sign a new 2 year plan and get it for a cheaper price, probably saving me at least a 100 bucks. And there's still the Giant bike I've had my eye on. I really miss cycling now that my bike is gone. And still, more birthday presents to buy! I cannot believe this. My finances are dipping at an alarming rate. And somehow, just somehow, I might have to force myself to get a job to defray expenses.
Batman begins opens June 16th, this coming thursday. Anyone interested in watching the sneak preview with me on wednesday?
Everything in its time - Corrinne MaySometimes I wonder what lies ahead
how long till my hunger is fed
They say it's hard to make it in this part of town
so many people on this merry-go-round
Some folks try astrology
some turn to crystal balls
to find an answer,
to get through it all
I just fall on my knees and I try to pray
in the silence I can hear Him say
The river runs and the river hides
out to the ocean and under the sky
I promise you, the answer will come
hold on to patience and watch for the sign
Everything in its time
I often feel like I'm two steps behind
somebody must have moved that finish line
There are a thousand reasons
why I should give up
but I'm stubborn in the things I believe
The river runs and the river hides
out to the ocean and under the sky
I promise you, the answer will come
hold on to patience and watch for the sign
'cause maybe there's another plan
one I still can't see
A little surprise, like your love in my life
funny how time changes how we see
There are a thousand reasons
why I should give up
but I'm stubborn in the things I believe
The river runs and the river hides
out to the ocean and under the sky
I promise you, the answer will come
hold on to patience and watch for the sign

The second week of holidays are coming to a close, and thus leaving me with precious 2 weeks to continue sorting out my thoughts.
Went for the 9am-5pm literature lesson at toh tuck yesterday, and it turned out to be more like 9.30am-3.45pm. Well I managed to pay attention in the morning session, and went for lunch with the guys at IMM. The japanese teriyaki chicken there is not bad. Then because the Power Rangers were there (those kiddy shows they routinely have at IMM) Bert and Sara went to take a look, and dom's indecision whether to go back for lessons caused us to be slightly late.
Anyway the afternoon session was a bore, with me snoozing throughout the lesson. I think its really too tiring to have another marathon lit lesson like that. I wont be able to take it.
Due to the weather, the pope, the china swordsman and the strong and silent one has been down with fever. Everybody please drink more water.
Further news, the cute and innocent one has been placed under house arrest indefinitely.
PW is starting to get on my nerves, and its only June. Sunburnt. Ouch.

Finally, the holidays have dawned upon us and unexpectedly just after the first day I am now feeling extremely bored with nothing much to do really. Maybe because of my usual hectic schedule for school and now suddenly Im freed from all these commitments I find that I have too much time on my hands to burn now.
I've been spending WAY too much money these few days and i ought to cut back soon...maybe stop my spendthrift ways. A sad piece of news though, my bike got stolen from paya lebar mrt. To cut the long story short, when i returned to my bike after my dinner at singapore post, all i found was a cut bicycle lock. Im now contemplating whether to purchase the sony psp or to replace my bike. But then again im supposed to cut back on my spending!
I think i have been indulging in sweets and chips far too often of late.
Note : My last blog post do not make sense to you guys. Just ignore it thanks.
