Trying to bring my comp up to date after reformating is definitely NOT an easy task to do. Really feel like smashing the comp into scrap metal. On the brighter side, i've got rid of the viruses that i wanted to get rid of but there're still a couple of trojans lurking around. (note. Lurking. Those sneaky bastards.)
Anyway, Im feeling relatively cheerful despite the gloom weather (its pouring by the way) and im still undecided on whether to go to liangshi's hse for countdown since they've cancelled the "live" telecast on tv.
I really, really, really hope that Morientes would be able to move to Liverpool.
Since it has rained the day before yesterday, yesterday, today, practically the whole week, i hope it doesnt rain on saturday as i've got a match on that day. Please do not rain. Please.
Finally got round to successfully reformating my computer 4 times(!) and though its still far from perfect and the com's still a lil laggy, im sure everything will be resolved sooner or later. Kind of disappointed that they cancelled the live coverage of nation's countdown party in sentosa due to the tsunamis that hit asia. I guess they thought it wasnt appropriate to be seen celebrating when people are dying elsewhere. Oh well...
Am looking forward to trying out my new predator pulse. Still wishing my hair will grow a teeny weeny faster.

Its only 2 days left to new year, 3 days left till school reopens. To tell the truth, im looking forward to it since going to school is better than staying at home and doing nothing at all other than watching debbie travis's facelift and days of our lives. I've got to change my sleeping habits and start sleeping earlier if i am to condition my body to wake up for school.
Finally went for my haircut which was recommended by huini. Honestly, the hairstylist wasnt too bad except she cut my hair a tad too short for my liking. Actually i think almost all hairstylists misunderstood my instructions for trim and went to snip off like 4cm of my hair(akin to asking the noodles auntie for abit of chilli and she gives you a huge scoop of it.) I've heard that alvin yeo, shuilian, elayne of course huini gets their hair cut there so im not going to complain much about it.
Since new year's about here, have you compiled your new year resolutions list yet?

Morientes: Two unnamed in. (BarryCoombs/Empics)
Four English clubs are in the hunt for Real Madrid's out-of-favour striker Fernando Morientes, according to his agent. The Spanish international is top of Liverpool's wanted list but Newcastle are also reported to be interested in the forward, who top-scored in last season's Champions League. The other two English clubs are unknown as yet. Gines Carvajal, Morientes' agent, told Marca: 'Morientes now has four offers from different English clubs and two from French teams.'
Hope he moves to Liverpool.

Another 5 days and it'll be the end of 2004. This year has passed really quick, with its ups and downs. Most people that know me will know that i took the unconventional route to MI instead of retaking Os as a private candidate. Oh well, i've done pretty well in MI so far considering that i havent put in much effort and barely scraped through my promos.
Trying to juggle Os and MI work, struggling through my personal life, particularly with my mom and seeing some of my friends not being able to make it to the 2nd year in MI were one of the lower points of 2004. Sigh.
On the brighter side, getting to know new friends in sajc through one way or the other, getting invited to join the sajcband soccer team also known as Gillman FC, going out for movies with dom and sk, prata trips after school, and watching about 20 movies this year were one of the high points of 2004 haha.
Finally as usual, 2004 seemed to pass by exceptionally quickly considering the amount of work that i have to do this year. Soon, i'll have made it through 2004.
Its going to be the end of 2004, and im kind of wistful.

Played sajc soccer team today. Although was expecting a tough match, we still lost 9-1. A pathetic scoreline and honestly we shldnt have lost by that much. Oh well, we'll be able to bounce back from this defeat and learn more from it. And i was able to tackle quite properly as well though =) Should work on my first touch and dribbling.
Its christmas again people =)
May this christmas inspire us to give a little of what we have, share a little of who we are, to help make this the kind of world it was meant to be.
Have a blessed christmas.

I think i have insomnia. Sigh. And i just recalled that i cant just walk into a pharmacy to get sleeping pills because they're classified as dangerous and i need a doctor's letter to get them. Bleah.
If i could turn back time, what would have i said to her? If i could turn back time, what would i have done for you? Would i have changed what i did? Or do the same thing over again? Maybe, just maybe, it shouldn't have started in the first place. It was all my mistake.
I've got alot of things weighing on my mind now. And no one can help. I hate this periods where i sink into depression.
Now playing : Brave - A new dawn
Those people that show half hearted concern hurts us the most.
Shall talk about yesterday (tuesday, not wednesday). Went to school with poh ru to watch MI play a friendly with mjc team. It seems like our bball team won quite comprehensively although i dun really know the exact score. Anyway went to meet ailing dom and sk after that with poh ru in dhoby ghaut. Wanted to find black socks and went to the adidas at heeren but found out that they dun stock socks.
Then went to poh ru's hse to stone, but on the way while we walked there from serangoon nel, dom sk and i noticed 2 guys(and maybe more) studying her on the way. It seems to me that poh ru is more attractive than i previously thought. Ended up playing bishi bashi to spend time before we could go to chomp chomp for dinner. (so sorry shimin!)
After that headed for Ice3 (pronounced as ice cube) for ice cream and we got the sofa seats! ahhaha...all of us were like making ourselves comfortable and getting ready to sleep there. Anyway the person that took our orders looked pretty enough to be a SIA stewardess. But anyway, thats beside the point. I think we would be spending new year's eve there. Most likely cuz ailing and sk are for the idea. And i dun mind going there.
Soccer match on friday with sajc soccer team. Makes me feel like werder bremen playing bayern munich*. And i havent got my black socks yet. Sigh.
*for the sake of those who dun understand, its like singapore playing england.

a full match report. Pulled it off the sajcband blog. I wrote it anyway haha.
Alex and deepan will prove to be Gilman FC's smartest decision to date to loan them as both scored on their debuts with 2 goals each and jianzong a single goal. Before the match team manager kumz said to the team that this would be a hard match as these people are from NS. Midfield playmaker jianzong did little to allay the team's fears when he said in awe "Wah, playing NS people ah? Their teamwork is already up there already leh." Anyway headed to the field and redhuwan went to the wrong place and ended up in tpjc instead of temasek poly. Anyway. After some warm ups, the match started. Tpjc alumni proved to be a fluke as they played their supposedly weaker players in the first half while choosing to rest their 5 malay players who are the stars of their team. Play started well with both deon and deepan running down the flanks providing crosses for Kok Hoe but with no luck and pressure failed to convert them. Alex however opened up scoring when he blasted the ball into the net from around 25 yards out. However a few minutes later Tpjc alumni equalised with a blunder from temp keeper Terrance Ng. Their midfielderwhipped in a corner and it looked like a easy catch for Terrance until he misjudged it and the ball bounced off his hand and fell to the Tpjc alumni striker who nodded into the net, no sweat at all. 1-1. However Deepan, with a stroke of genius, scored and after that alex made it 3-1. Deepan then made it 4-1 before the break. During halftime, Deon Toh warned the team against complacency by warning them against the 5 malay stars who were smoking all the while during the first half. "Dun see them smoke like that okay, one of them can outrun all of us." And so with that negative thought in mind, Gilman FC went back onto the pitch and restarted the game. The supposedly 5 malay stars apparently wasnt on their best on the pitch and were easily cut out by Gilman FC's defenders, with andre particularly doing a fantastic job impressing both managers and critics alike. Finally jianzong converted one of the crosses by blasting the ball past a defender into the top corner of the net making it 5-1. Tpjc alumni never had a way back into the match and about 2/3s through the match Addison made the switch with Terrance with the latter now taking up position in the midfield. However nothing of much interest happened for the rest of the match other than some fat opposition player trying to step on Deon's stomach and the same player cursing Deepan.
Jianzong cemented his place in Gilman FC's as the most effective midfield playmaker
Scoring has never looked easier when you see Jianzong play, scoring on every match he played. He revealed the secret to his success was, "dun think of scoring and you'll score naturally." Team manager kumaresh is still warning Gilman not to get too cocky and overconfident, as all the teams they have played are easy teams. Gilman now faces 5 wins out of 6 matches, with very good form and resonably high morale.
Special thanks to supporters brynne and her friend (sorry i forgot the name haha) joey (who shocked kok hoe when she turned up) enru, jason and jasmine for their support. Also appreciation goes to marcus for playing despite being ill.

Played soccer at tampines again and we won again 5-1. Hoho. Although it shouldnt be 1 as i let in a stupid goal but cant blame me since im not supposed to be keeper. Towards the end of the match i switched with addi and played in the centre midefield though.
Anyway...went to enru's house to bath after that and watched national treasure. The show was good but was feeling damn cold all throughout.
Good news. I am improving my game already. Woohoo.

Ahhhh! I forgot to watch anime yesterday. DAMN! I hate it. I need a reminder.
hoho. Watched Ocean's twelve today. Its not a bad show but those that didnt watch ocean's eleven before, watch that first before catching Ocean's twelve as you might be confused over whats happening.
Let me reinstate again.
Hebe's darn cute.
Lol. Getting pissed off with me? K la. I think
Sun Yanzi's not bad too. Hahaha. At least i stand a slightly higher chance to meeting
Sun Yanzi as she was from sajc and i might meet her at some saints alumni gathering or what. Ahhhhhh!
I finally got my rd ram. And it works! Phew. My comp's smoother now. Btw,
Sun Yanzi's cute.
Bahh. I just said they were cute/sweet looking. And besides any gf i get hopefully would be something like them. I am not that disillusioned to think they will like me unlike some Jay Chou fans *ahem ahem* You know who you are. *stares*
Idol worship is going way overboard.
You know who you are.
Haha. And finally, to round my entry off.
Saint Andrews. No one is here by chance. (Sun Yanzi!!!)

Let me tell you something.
Hebe's darn cute!
Just watched jacky go go go. Today's episode was in shanghai and it was with S.H.E. After watching the show, i've got to say this.
Hebe's damn cute and sweet looking. Haha. She got the kind of face and character that I want to bring her home to meet my parents straightaway. Also to marry her and have kids as soon as possible.
Haha. Maybe Im thinking too much. The hosts of the show (wu zong xian, nono, kangkang) are darn good at cracking jokes. I wonder whether its an inborn talent or what. Haha. Oooh...moreover they started today's episode with crabs. Gosh, its making me hungry.
Hahah...by the way, did i mention that
hebe is cute? Lol.
One day really must go round singapore eating the good food, or learn how to play zhong ji mi ma. Hmmm...but gotta get people to go with me first.
And finally, did i say that
hebe is cute? (Haha okay okay enough)
Dun think i'll be joining the sajc bandies for their outing to sentosa tmr. Im spending far too much money and mom's getting angry. Sorry huimin buddy =( Some other time we'll go to ice cube and chomp chomp k? Haha.

If i could turn back time, what would i have done for you?
If i could turn back time, would we be happier now instead of not talking at all?
Woah...its the first time i slept all the way till 3pm. Seems like im getting more and more sleepy. And due to the long sleep, my neck's aching now badly. I've finally decided to buy my rd ram and my new grip. But i need to find proper shops to get them. Damn. If i continue to bike with my lousy grips, i'll get blisters. (Only happens when i cycle for long distances)
Alumni prac later again at 7.30pm. At least its a break in the monotony in my life. Just that i'll miss The In-Laws on ch8.
Friendster is getting increasingly unreliable.

Cold and despondent. I sit by the windowsill, listening to the pitter patter of the raindrops.
Ok that piece with the 3 movements is called theatre music. Yawn...alumni tmr at 7.30pm.
Since its a monday tmr, dun think the guys are going to eat prata. Besides poly is starting soon already. Should i go down to sajc for band prac to kill time? Or should i just stay at home and bike down to sas?
Soccer was tiring. But fun. Haha played in waterlogged pitch again. The other team was damn freaking rough though. Really have to keep a check on my temper. We won 5 nil though! =)
Its raining...yet again.
Went for alumni and they played 2 pieces, disney fantasies and multitude (!) for alec and one piece for yuxuan. Didnt catch the 3rd piece as it was a compilation of movements (like nordic sketches) or at least thats what i think its called.
After that went for prata with almost the whole percussion section (marcus, benny, edwin, rao, me) and vignesh (kumar's brother) and andre. Tried to discuss our latin/samba percussion thing but in the end i've got to say the discussion went nowhere and we're still in square one. Not knowing what to do. Sigh...if worst comes to worst, we'll do a ensemble and thats what i think is going to happen.
Im having alumni prac tmr (monday) already. Meaning on certain mondays i wouldnt be free. So if you guys want to ask me out, make it in the afternoon as i need to attend pracs from 7pm-10pm or thereabouts.
For those people who are down with flu (or influenza as known to some) due to the weather, please please please do take care ok?
Hmm. I sound naggy.

Took a writing test. Its quite interesting haha.
http://www.handwritingwizard.com/index.phtml
For a graphologist, the spacing on the page reflects the writer's attitude toward their own world and relationship to things in his or her own space. If the inputted data was correct Terrance has left lots of white space on the all four borders of the paper. Terrance fills up just the center area of the page. If this is true, then Terrance has a particular shyness toward people and a fear of moving too fast in any direction. In some cultures, respecting people, rules, and adhering to protocol are ways of life. The right side of the page represents the future and the left side represents the past. Terrance seems a bit stuck in the middle, afraid to take action. Terrance seems to have a fear of looking bad or of crossing boundries. It will be easy to work with Terrance on a team, because Terrance will usually follow the rules. However, this desire to respect the boundries can often be construed as a lack of confidence and people will walk over Terrance if he is not careful.
Terrance has a healthy imagination and displays a fair amount of trust. He lets new people into his circle of friends. He uses his imagination to understand new ideas, things, and people.
Terrance is very self-sufficient. He is trying not to need anyone. He is capable of making it on his own. He probably wants and enjoys people, but he doesn't "need" them. He can be a loner.
Terrance is capable of seeing far into the future. He plans two, three, even ten years in advance. Terrance has high goals and can literally see them being reached. He is very self-confident and has a high self-esteem. Terrance will reach whatever level of success he desires. Terrance has the self-concept that is possessed by less than two percent of the population. That two percent contains the most successful people in the world. When a person has a high self-esteem, he frees himself to achieve an unlimited world of success. Terrance has achieved this frame of mind. Congratulations. He has the self-confidence to take great risk, thus reaping the rewards. If he does fail, it doesn't break his confidence. He knows he can do it! In retrospect of our research, this trait is one of the most desirable to possess, because it releases the writer to achieve his full potential. We recommend everyone raise their self-esteem to this level.
In reference to Terrance's mental abilities, he has a very investigating and creating mind. He investigates projects rapidly because he is curious about many things. He gets involved in many projects that seem good at the beginning, but he soon must slow down and look at all the angles. He probably gets too many things going at once. When Terrance slows down, then he becomes more creative than before. Since it takes time to be creative, he must slow down to do it. He then decides what projects he has time to finish. Thus he finishes at a slower pace than when he started the project. He has the best of two kinds of minds. One is the quick investigating mind. The other is the creative mind. His mind thinks quick and rapidly in the investigative mode. He can learn quicker, investigate more, and think faster. Terrance can then switch into his low gear. When he is in the slower mode, he can be creative, remember longer and stack facts in a logical manner. He is more logical this way and can climb mental mountains with a much better grip.
Terrance will be candid and direct when expressing his opinion. He will tell them what he thinks if they ask for it, whether they like it or not. So, if they don't really want his opinion, don't ask for it!
Terrance is moderately outgoing. His emotions are stirred by sympathy and heart rendering stories. In fact, he can be kind, friendly, affectionate and considerate of others. He has the ability to put himself into the other person's shoes. Terrance will be somewhat moody, with highs and lows. Sometimes he will be happy, the next day he might be sad. He has the unique ability to get along equally well with what psychology calls introverts and extroverts. This is because he is in between. Psychology calls Terrance an ambivert. He understands the needs of both types. Although they get along, he will not tolerate anyone that is too "far out." He doesn't sway too far one way or the other. When convincing him to buy a product or an idea, a heart rendering story could mean a great deal to him. He puts himself in the same situation as the person in the story, yet he will not buy anything that seems overly impractical or illogical. Terrance is an expressive person. He outwardly shows his emotions. He may even show traces of tears when hearing a sad story. Terrance is a "middle-of-the-roader," politically as well as logically. He weighs both sides of an issue, sits on the fence, and then will decide when he finally has to. He basically doesn't relate to any far out ideas and usually won't go to the extreme on any issue.
People that write their letters in an average height and average size are moderate in their ability to interact socially. According to the data input, Terrance doesn't write too large or too small, indicating a balanced ability to be social and interact with others.

Ok. Time to blog about the class dinner at marche.
Went out early in the morning to meet dom and sk at 11am(hey its early for me okay!). Turns out that i didnt feel like leaving the home at 10+ so smsed dom and told him that i'll be late. And its good that i smsed him, for my sms woke him up. If not there'll be someone even later than me.
Anyway, after meeting them, went to get our presents for the gift exchange for the class dinner later. Could say that almost all of us got similar items from the gift shops around bugis. Hahah. Since it was still quite early about 12+, we decided to go to yoshinoya to have lunch. After that headed down to esplanade to ask for the tix to mamma mia.
Since we were supposed to meet at 2pm at city hall mrt, browsed in mph bookstore in citylink for a while and decided to wait for the class there. Turns out that not everybody came and only about 11 came. After everybody was here, we went for lunch(dom, sk and my 2nd lunch) at the food court in suntec. After eating that, movie plans were called off due to clashes in the timing and we decided to head for marche for our early dinner straightaway (!)
I've got the say the food at marche is quite ok...good to a certain extent but the prices are quite expensive. Bleah. I think i shld keep away from places like marche. Its too expensive. After eating, we walked around and decided to go to esplanade to check out their newly renovated roof terrace. On our way there, saw melody chen and she looks quite pretty as like on tv. Ending up talking at the roof terrace and drinking alcohol(some ppl drank) till about 11plus. Then the security came and chased us away as they were closing the place and those that had curfew went home. After that those that didnt (mainly the 18 year olds, which means ailing guyu and the juveniles, namely sk poh ru and me) went to geylang to eat the famous taiwanese beancurd and the beef kuay teow. Haha then ailing and guyu acted like they were hosting the jacky go go go (shi zhi lu kou) and were mimicking wu zhong xian. Haha...gotta say they did a pretty good impersonation.
After eating(today's really the eating day) went home our separate ways in taxis (guyu and poh ru, the northsiders. Ailing, sk and me, the eastsiders) And here i am, home again, having survived another day without my parents. Amazing.
P/s. I got chocolate rocks from the gift exchange. Haha. I absolutely love chocolates.

In this vast universe, our existence is but only a moment. But here under the blue sky, there is only you and me. And me and you. I believe that there is nothing more blissful than that.
You asked me whether you could trust me, and i said yes. You said you got it. But now you're doubting me so easily. If you can doubt me so easily, shouldnt you have not asked that in the first place?

Finally! First alumni prac after a long break. Have got to say the attendace wasnt that good though. But what to do? Its saints alumni after all. We've gotta stop these sporadic absences. Oh well...but talking about alumni. *Ahem* The saints alumni is having a concert on the 18th of Febuary and i sincerely hope that each and everyone of u that know me can come. We're playing conventional pieces (Multitude, disney fantasies etc etc) and our 2nd half we're having latin percussion and some sort of alternative music. Unconventional that is.
Anyway, the concert shld be a blast. So you guys please please please support and buy tix from me k? Thanks haha.
Oh by the way, found out that sas is playing 7th night of july for syf. Why couldnt they play that piece when im still in sas? Damn.
Finally, sajc tune in was fantastic! Especially when i was one of the "evil" gamemasters. HAha. I applaud the efforts of the sajc-ians. You shld be able to attract loads of sec4s.
Looking forward to seeing the new sav by the end of this month.

Okay...so i shall comment about yesterday's Training Day. For those that didnt know, Training Day is a program that invites a celebrity to come onto their show to take on a challenge, like fencing, or rugby or something. So for yesterday, they invited Carrie Chong, 98.7 FM radio dj to come onto the show to do a challenge, which is
1. To score 5 goals in 5 minutes ;
or
2. To save 5 goals in 5 minutes
If she manages to complete the challenge, she'll be made the honorary member of the nation's women's soccer team for a day and receive the national jersey. (The perks of being a celeb. Bleah) Anyway...she had to train one full day with the national team b4 embarking on the challenge(s) in the evening.
Anyway, she decided to try the 2nd challenge first, which is to save 5 goals in 5 minutes. Although its her first time playing soccer, she was quite sporting about it (not to mention cute haha) and sad to say...she let in a few goals. Anyway during one of the attempts, one of the national players accidentally hit the ball straight into carrie's face. Carrie was like stunned for a moment then fell down to the ground and rolled over clutching her face. Anyway, the national team and the hostess surrounded her asking whether she was all right or not. She seems to be crying quietly though.
(cue in grave music) and anyway there was this guy saying seriously "This is the worst injury Training Day has ever seen (give me a break, you only had 2 episodes, and the other was with allan wu playing rugby) Anyway, she got back up again after being given some water and although failing the first challenge, went on to win the 2nd challenge which involved scoring 5 goals in 5 minutes. HAha although it really seemed like the goalkeeper was just giving her a chance.
All in all...a really corny show. Haha!

Today's december 1st, also International Aids day...anyway...sad to say for another year, no cure has been found yet. Sigh.
Anyway...to the sg idol phenomenon. I finally watched abit of the finals today and i've got to say, it didnt really live up to my expectations. The singing was fine...the setting was okay...but the lack of favourites among the celebs disappoint me. It was like they were all being diplomatic. Here's a short dialogue from the finals.(I tried my best to replicate the exact words)
Daniel Ong : Hey i've got sharon au, rui en and abcdefg(that indian mom from ahchar dunno whats her name)
Daniel Ong : So sharon, who are u rooting/voting(i didnt manage to catch the word) for?
Sharon Au : Erm...i think taufik's the one with the vocal power, but sylvester has the mass appeal...so its hard to choose. But i think the fans are being very good and i am rooting for them!
(she didnt answer the question)
Daniel Ong : oh okay...then rui en who are u rooting/voting for?
Rui en : oh i dunno...they're both just too good!
(this is a competition, u gotta have a favourite. Unless u didnt watch the sg idol like me because u were too busy filming "My In-laws")
Daniel Ong : What about you abcdefg?(I didnt catch her name remember?)
Abcdefg : This is a fantastic atmosphere and i think sly's the phenomenon of the sg idol but taufik's my idol!!
(finally, someone who has an opinion. This is a competition for god's sake.)
Really...almost all the celebs were like that. Omg i cant believe it. AHaha and i havent even talked about training day yet. I'll talk about that tmr. Anyway...good night ppl! And congratulations to taufik for winning singapore idol. And thanks for all those ppl that created the network congestion and prevented me from smsing my friends. THANKS.
Declined to meet the sajc bandies for their outing to the zoo mainly because the entrance fee was damn ex, and i wanted to sleep in. Haha besides i was going to meet sk and dom later in the day.
Before meeting us, dom went to collect his sg idol final tix (see enclosed picture) at raffles place before going to meet us at City Hall. Anyway i saw desmond and his bunch of rocker friends there. He looks like he's grown taller (again) and is doing quite well. Said the Os were quite easy (Expected. Everyone thought it was easy. At least, everyone that bothered to study.) After that walked around in suntec aimlessly trying to look for a suitable present for the christmas dinner exchage with my class. Haha we wanted to buy a 1000 pieces jigsaw puzzle but in the end thought that the person that received it probably wont bother to fix it.
Then wanted to go the Ice3 for ice cream but when we reached serangoon, dom said he didnt want to eat chomp chomp and dun feel like eating ice cream. So from there we took a bus to bedok for ba cho mee again. I think im addicted to ba choo mee. Its simply delicious.
