Currently Listening to: Above The Wreckage - DishwallaHahahha. Second last sunday, and one of the best so far. I must start waking up in the afternoon, or try to get more sleep. Every practice I've been sleeping in the bandroom so I wouldnt feel so drained out.
2 more weeks..!! I promise I'll confess on concert day. *grins*
-
"Eh concert in 2 weeks already. Don't give me hooya give me HOO YA!."
HOO YA!
-
WHOOOOOOO!!
Currently Listening To: Ease The Moment - DishwallaI've got this craving for fried fish soup that cannot be satisfied. I keep eating the one at the Old Airport, and the next day I'll feel like eating it again. Hopefully this phase will pass if not I'll have to go down there on a regular basis just to make the craving go away. Yet however, after what I've eaten recently, and that includes the fish soup, I have this insanse desire to vomit them all out. I hope its not my digestive system going crazy on me, but I can really feel the bile rising.
On a lighter note, the passing out parade went well. Although it started raining and we couldnt do it outdoors, the overall programme was not too bad... It reminded me of myself when I was passing out, and that was a day which was raining too. A nice nostalgic feeling.
From hardcore gaming I'm regressing to a more social gamer. I log on to WoW just to chat, see how everyone's doing. Most of the time, I'm trying to get more sleep, more rest.
Actually there's something else I want to say, but I don't quite know how to phrase it. Probably the most I could say is, "Now you know...now you know..."
I feel lighter than I've been in months.
-
Finally,
its about 2 weeks left to concert.
After that, I'll have fulfilled part of my responsibilities for this year.
There's nothing left to look forward to during the weekends anymore..
Maybe except for The Hospital!
-
Cheers to Team Singapore! We're going to the Asean Championships Finals!!

Currently Listening To: Crutch - Matchbox TwentyMy taste buds have already become numbed. I cant taste anything anymore...and I feel so weak all the time. I cant even walk straight anymore, and I keep bumping into walls when I walk due to my lack of strength.
I'm so sick. I need this fever to break. I need my sense of taste to return. I need to recover. All in all, nothing is going well.

Saw this online, its interesting so I decided to post it up.

Society itself is breaking the family unit down. Technology makes lives more
difficult just as much as it does make them easier. Many people no longer have
a clear line drawn between work and personal time because they’re digitally
tethered to their jobs, or at least their co-workers, through e-mail, cell
phones, etc.
Play / recreation is an important part of life, and many people are forced to
work long, odd hours because of a 24/7 mentality where work never really stops
for many people. Video games are a good way to get that sense of play in,
because they’re convient. It’s a lot easier to, say, hop online and play a game
of Madden than it is to try to organize a ‘real’ game of backlot football with a
group of people on the weekend. People need to have downtime.
Anything in excess is bad. Video games can be good for children in proper
doses. You can have human interaction while playing games, by inviting kids
over, there are a lot of kid-appropriate games that allow for more than one
player. Most parents don’t want bothered with that, it’s easier to drag their
kids to football or baseball games, dump them on the field and sit in the stands
reading a magazine while the coaches watch them.
Maybe if some soccer moms would be less worried about dragging their kids all
over God’s creation to participate in ‘worthwhile’ activities instead of letting
them come home from school and actually playing with them, be it a video game or
just running around in the back yard, having them help prepare a meal instead of
going through a drive-thru for a Happy Meal, you’d have kids that were a little
more relaxed and have a better relationship with their parents.
I don’t think that activites that center around the home are a bad thing.
That’s just as big of a problem, many kids don’t get much of a stable, quiet
home life, because it’s considered essential to have them participate in every
last after-school activity, run, run, run from the time they get up in the
morning until they go to bed at night. Parents need to be parents and not stop
every five minutes to check their voice mail or not spend time with their kids
because they have to do this or do that around the house. Those things can
wait, kids are only kids once.
‘Real human interaction’ starts with parents, not teammates, coaches or dance
instructors. And God forbid you sit and play a video game once in a while with
them, and show them that games can be fun, but you also need to know when to
say when and turn them off, balance them with other activites.

Trying to remain strong despite being desperately sick. I will never show weakness to my parents anymore.

Currently Listening To: Its About Time - Jamie CullumIts been an amazing week so far. I've got hit by fever, sore throat, flu, headache for the past 7 days, but luckily its in a decreasing intensity so I as I'm typing this right now, I'm kind of ok except for my regular coughing. Even then, I'm taking strepsils(truely the only lozenge that works!) regularly.
Tuesday was the release of The Burning Crusade, the long awaited widely anticipated expansion to the currently the world's most popular MMORPG(Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game), the World of Warcraft. There was an launch party at suntec, and I queued for about 2hours to redeem my copy of the game. It was nice seeing so much fellow gamers gathered together, discussing feverishly about their experience in the game. A plus point was that I saw Denise Keller too, and ailing almost fainted in excitement. Hahahaha...
Concert's coming, in about 3 more weeks. I've been going for practices which take place every saturday nights and sunday afternoons, so my weekends are practically taken up. That makes me a sad boy, because weekends are the only times my friends book out of camp and can go out. But then again, I don't think they want to go out with me because they want to meet other girls first(Sk. *cough cough*), or they got their army buddies, or some other vague reason.
Yan(jie) asked me a question yesterday, and amazingly I struggled with myself to answer it. When I said I don't know, she gave me a wicked/cheeky look and then said, "Thats a very diplomatic answer...".
Is it?
On a side note, doing window shopping with her and jade on sunday after band prac is quite fun. Although I felt so tiredd after only about 3hours of sleep.(I slept at 7am on sunday morning and woke up around 10 cuz I couldnt sleep anymore...)
-
Hahahaha..............but my dear girl. I only have eyes for you.
Lets just enjoy the remaining time of what we've got left.

Currently Listening To: Its About Time - Jamie CullumOne Last Dance, a Raintree Pictures production, the same one that made I Not Stupid, finally did something that made me proud of a local movie. It was surprisingly good, nice storyline, and although there was a little too much of a HongKong kind of movie to it, Singapore was showcased in such a way that it seemed like a cool place. Cheers to the cast, crew that made this movie good.

I don't understand myself. I think I'm becoming more and more silent, starting to brood a lot more.
Hmm. Thats not good.

Currently Listening To: Rest Stop - Matchbox TwentyI'm feeling damn uplifted. For once in a long time, I've finally got something to look forward to! Band practice is now a blast, im enjoying myself even if I don't play my parts correctly, and soccer's back on, and I finally managed to fix WoW. Its very apparent that I'm slowly getting things back on track, with only one small exception. A temp job.
Having supper at mac after prac on sat was great. We were talking...and talking...and talking...and before we realised it mac was serving breakfast already(ie. It was already 4am) and when we finished and left that place it was close to 5am. After sending the girls home, which was a round trip around singapore (Telok Blangah, Queensway, Pasir Ris with detour to Changi Airport before that) I got home about close to 6am. I dont know how we managed to go from one place to another so quickly, I guess my friend was speeding really quickly.
And we had prac today. Ahh so damn tired.

Currently Listening To: Learning To Breathe - SwitchfootDear God,
I remember skipping along feeling happier than I've could remember. It was closer to being euphoric. I wonder if I'll ever feel that way again. Remember the time when I was crushed? That I eventually took it and moved on? Oh that was so long long long ago...I never thought I'll fall for another again. Obviously that wasn't true. Man is always fickle.
Remember the times I was with the group of people who said we were making music because we love it, and making it for ourselves, for people who love it, and above all, for you. Those were the days now already lost, for we've gone our separate ways since then. Although some of us have returned home to continue doing this, it isnt the same with the different people, new faces, and under a different name.
While I was at my grandparents', I could feel the memories soaking back into me when I walked around Whampoa alone. It was quite overwhelming, and quite saddening to realise that so many years have passed since then. Remember the simplicity of the life I led? Its a pity I'll never get to do that again.
Thank you God, for all I've been given. For what you've taken away...damn bad la you. Argh.
-
Cheers, to us. For what time we've left together. Before you leave, before I leave...

Currently Listening To: Style - Ken Hirai"Life without WoW seems so empty, so meaningless." When Terrance says that you know he has a big problem. Now that he has said that, you know he already has a big problem.
This big problem = Why can't Terrance access WoW?
Sucks...
Wish I was going to school tomorrow. Instead of bumping around, waiting for morning to come when I can bring my cpu for its clean up. The computer guy better be able to solve my big problem.

Oh noes! Saturday nights are gone, sunday afternoons are gone! My weekends are no longer free time for myself. I can't play soccer on sundays anymore, the horror!

Currently Listening To: Life is... - Ken Hirai
I knew it. Ever since I got drenched yesterday night I had this feeling I'll catch a cold. And now I have a cold. Sore throat, flu, fever, and a headache to add spice to all these. I've a weak constitution, didn't my doctor tell you that?
Not being able to access WoW has suddenly made me feel like I've got alot of free time available to me. My computer has viruses, that I'm unable to delete and I am contemplating bringing it somewhere and to pay someone to do a clean up for my drives.
Hmm. Its gonna be outta my own pocket again.

And so it ends, like all the evidences of memories that I've lost unwittingly. Although the memories would remain, they will eventually fade with time. Such is human nature. Pity.I still do shed tears time to time. For what? Only I do regret, fully, completely.
