0 repliesToday's december 1st, also International Aids day...anyway...sad to say for another year, no cure has been found yet. Sigh.
Anyway...to the sg idol phenomenon. I finally watched abit of the finals today and i've got to say, it didnt really live up to my expectations. The singing was fine...the setting was okay...but the lack of favourites among the celebs disappoint me. It was like they were all being diplomatic. Here's a short dialogue from the finals.(I tried my best to replicate the exact words)
Daniel Ong : Hey i've got sharon au, rui en and abcdefg(that indian mom from ahchar dunno whats her name)
Daniel Ong : So sharon, who are u rooting/voting(i didnt manage to catch the word) for?
Sharon Au : Erm...i think taufik's the one with the vocal power, but sylvester has the mass appeal...so its hard to choose. But i think the fans are being very good and i am rooting for them!
(she didnt answer the question)
Daniel Ong : oh okay...then rui en who are u rooting/voting for?
Rui en : oh i dunno...they're both just too good!
(this is a competition, u gotta have a favourite. Unless u didnt watch the sg idol like me because u were too busy filming "My In-laws")
Daniel Ong : What about you abcdefg?(I didnt catch her name remember?)
Abcdefg : This is a fantastic atmosphere and i think sly's the phenomenon of the sg idol but taufik's my idol!!
(finally, someone who has an opinion. This is a competition for god's sake.)
Really...almost all the celebs were like that. Omg i cant believe it. AHaha and i havent even talked about training day yet. I'll talk about that tmr. Anyway...good night ppl!
