I've been feeling too tired to write for the past few days, procrastinating and procrastinating. Maybe I felt like this because of the GP exam, which anyone knows has the power to kill off your urge for writing for quite some time. Anyway...
Went out after GP exam on friday, and then somehow me and ailing got ourselves invited to caihua's birthday lunch at sakae sushi. Because we were kind of crashing her celebrations, Ailing(being the ever polite and nice girl) wanted to get her a present as she felt it would be kind of rude to turn up empty handed. We ended up walking around suntec looking for suitable stuffs, going to Toy 'R Us to find that they didnt have sunflowers but tulips instead. Finally, walking out of Toy 'R Us we stumbled upon this Chocolate Art shop, which kind of reminds me of Sins chocolate. We found what we were looking for(the soft toy sunflower) and we got her a box containing 4 pieces of chocolates. I hoped she liked the chocs, and the sunflower as well, because I had a hard time sneaking those stuff into her bag, and it was really heart stopping at times.
Happy 19th birthday Caihua!-
Saturday, we had to attend the play, The Glass Menagerie at the Alliance Francaise AGF Theatre, which is located behind Newton's Mrt Station. The play was about 2 hours long, and considered boring by many people. Personally, I wouldnt call it boring, but it honestly wasnt that exciting as well.
I've still got the programme, even though its crushed. Here's the synopsis:
Originally set in the turmoil of Depression Era America, we have re-focused the story on a troubled Eurasian family living in post war Singapore.
The story revolves around Tom, a frustrated labourer who fights against his family responsibilities while writing poetry and dreaming of travelling the world; this dramatic mother Amanda desperately clinging on to her privileged past and his crippled, painfully shy sister Laura lost in her collection of glass animals.
When Amanda encourages Tom to set Laura up with a suitable young man, unresolved tensions are forced to the surface.
After the play, i went home to change and refresh myself before heading to the saints alumni. Had the usual fun, although it was weird that we started late, behind schedule, and then we ended quite early. Ended up playing 3on3 basketball before going to supper with the rest at Macs. Talked quite alot of nonsense, and like guys around my age(and older) could talk about, they talked about how army was again. Had the usual fun, and yea, you guys being my friends know the rest.

Sunday, and strangely in the morning, from the blazing heat of the sun, it turned gloomy like in 5 minutes and started raining about half an hour later. It reminded me strongly of the scene in X-Men III where storm manages to change the weather with her mood.
Unbelievable.
The holidays mood are starting to settle upon me, and I'm getting into the WoW frenzy, hopefully being able to balance both my preparations for the mid years as well as gaming.

On a side note, I would like to say, cheer up yiling! Life goes on, dont dwell too much on it.
